Welcome

The RESPECT Lab is a research laboratory dedicated to promoting respect, equity, diversity, inclusion, accessibility, and well-being in the workplace. Our mission is to create work environments where everyone feels valued, heard, and respected.

At the RESPECT Lab, we believe that respect is the key to effective collaboration and sustainable productivity. Our research focuses on identifying the root causes of interpersonal mistreatment in the workplace, as well as best practices and innovative strategies to foster harmonious and inclusive working relationships.

We invite you to explore the various sections of our website to learn more about our ongoing research projects, scientific and practical publications, societal and organizational initiatives, and a collection of tools for your organizations. Together, let’s build a future where respect at work is the norm.

 Who We Are

The Respect Lab is co-directed by Remi Labelle-Deraspe, PhD, CHRP, Assistant Professor of Human Resources Management at the School of Business at the Université de Sherbrooke, and Dana Kabat-Farr, PhD, Professor of Management at Dalhousie University.
